| Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain in 01 "Always Red" and 04 "Endless Purple" |
I finally bought my first set of high-end lipsticks after trying out Sephora's new cream lip stains. I initially just wanted 01, but I figured it would be a tad bit too bright for the fall, so I bought a mauve color to layer under it, which creates the perfect shade for the summer to fall transition.
I was really impressed with this product when I first tried it on. No lipstick has ever stayed on me for the whole day even after eating! I've tried NYX's matte cream lipsticks, but they left my lips chapped and didn't last very long. I love that this one goes on creamy but leaves a matte texture that feels like a lip stain. I definitely recommend, especially because it's really inexpensive for a high-end brand.
Here are the swatches. I've never tried a purple shade before, but it looked like the perfect lip color for the fall. I've always liked that vampy look, so I decided to purchase this as well. And of course, the "Always Red" was kind of the reason I went on a Sephora haul, so it's no surprise that I invested in it.
I'd love to try more high-end products. Let me know if you recommend any that are worth the price!
