The now long gone "Mother's Pride Bakery" Three Elms Road.The bakery was built in 1958 by "Rank Hovis McDougall Ltd" and extended in 1961 to accommodate a confectionery unit.Further extensions were done in 1964 due to the increase in business. At one time up to 160 vehicles a day were operating from the plant.The plant finally closed it's doors in 1982 and was demolished in 1983 to make way for
