Hey Beauties!
Christmas is coming up:), yey! I think I'm more excited for the holidays, because I finally have some time for me. Sometimes I have so many ideas and so little time. I hope to catch up, but I doubt. You know how it is, family comes together, you go here and there and the holidays are over.
Here is another Christmas DIY. In one of the stores I found these transparent Christmas tree ornaments and was so happy. Then I didn't know what to do with it. So many possibilities :). Here's the part one of how I decided to "pimp" those up.
Gold glitter with red bow ornament
For this one I used Mod Podge as a base. I poured it in the half of ornament and swirled it around. I got a wavy pattern and them I poured on top of that some gold glitter. I let it dry and then I just shook off any leftover glitters. At home I also had red gift ribbon and tied it into a bow. I glued it on the top of ornament. I also used some leftover gold decorative cord and used it to hang my ornament on the tree.
Snowflakes and fake snow ornament
I took one of Avon's nail polishes, which is a beautiful white silver shimmer shade. I used a striping nail brush and drew on some snowflakes, randomly. Then I had some fake snow at home so I filled my ornaments to a half. I took decorative white and silver cord to tie a bow and used it to hang the ornament.
I still didn't put up the Christmas tree, because we usually do it later in December. But when I get around to it, I will hang these on. I think they look kind of cute, what do you think?
In another post I will share my other two types of those ornaments.
Did you make any DIY Christmas tree ornaments?
